The Energizer® Industrial AA alkaline batteries have a shelf life of approximately 10 years at 70°F (we recommend you store them in a cool, dry place). If stored for 10 years at normal room temperatures the batteries will still have over 80% of their original capacity remaining. Performance for use in a radio cannot be expected to be the same after 10 years so you should consider taking the batteries out of service at that time.
